Why Manners Matter As Much As Math
Manners do really matter. They speak about you as a person, your integrity and your perceived ability. Have you ever had a boss who consistently walked by each day without saying good morning? How about a colleague who eats copious amounts of food in every meeting? What about someone who consistently arrives late and then makes way too much noise getting seated? And let’s not forget nose blowing, sweat wiping and gum chewing. The workplace is not your living room, it’s a shared professional space.
Don’t forget the small things; they really do go a long way. You never know who you may be impacting and what they’ll be thinking.
